| Adobe has just rolled out an update for Photoshop that PetaPixel has described as “one of its most significant ever." Currently in beta, the revamped Photoshop software brings even more accuracy to Generative Fill, a remarkable AI tool introduced by Adobe last year that lets you expand an image with new content in a couple of clicks. Apple expected to finally unveil new iPads and accessories in early May
| Top-end iPad Pro models are expected to switch to an OLED display, while the iPad Air could get a 12.9-inch model | Apple has announced a special event called Let Loose for May 7. The online event will take place at 7 a.m. PT (10 a.m. ET) and is almost certainly going to involve the unveiling of new iPad hardware and accessories, including an upgraded iPad Pro, iPad Air, Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard. The top-end iPad Pro models are expected to switch to an OLED display, while the iPad Air could get a 12.9-inch model to go alongside the existing 10.9-inch one. | Sonos chief Patrick Spence admitted that the Sonos app “has been a pain point at times,” but the good news is that it’s being replaced with something that looks a like a major improvement. How Quentin Tarantino’s The Movie Critic fell apart | It was billed as the director’s 10th and final movie, but the project has been scrapped
| In a new report, The Hollywood Reporter takes us inside “the messy, late-hour collapse of [Tarantino’s] mysterious final feature amid wild script and casting rumors (Tom Cruise?) and a fully on-board Sony Pictures.” It was April 17 when the world learned that The Movie Critic was no longer happening. “The decision came as quite a shock given the project was expected to film at least one sequence this year, and then go into full production in early 2025 with an A-list talent attached (Brad Pitt, reteaming with Tarantino for a third time),” the publication said.
