Your Impact on WhatsApp’s Election Safeguards Over the last few months, tens of thousands of Mozilla supporters like you have signed our petition urging WhatsApp to do more to protect the integrity of global elections. We called on WhatsApp to introduce meaningful platform changes like forwarding and broadcasting in order to check the spread of disinformation and other harmful content. These meaningful changes were identified through Mozilla Fellows’ analysis of technology and disinformation during recent elections in Liberia, Brazil and India. The campaign has been successful!
