Brees vs. McEnroe: We mentioned yesterday that Saints great Drew Brees is the chief pitch man of the big pickleball event at the Convention Center that’s raising money for his Brees Dream Foundation. Our Doug MacCash caught up with the surefire Hall of Famer Thursday to talk about pickleball and Brees celebrity match on Saturday with tennis great (and legendary tantrum tosser) John McEnroe. Surging: Words nobody wants to hear: “It’s fair to say we’re entering another surge...” For the eighth time since early 2020, Louisiana is expecting a spike in COVID cases.
