Dow tumbles more than 700 points, as Tesla and Apple slide

U.S. equity markets tumbled on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling more than 700 points, or 2.6%. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite fell by 3.4% and 4.8%, respectively. Apple and Amazon paced the selling in tech names.
