This is a sweet little greeting card you can make for that special someone in your life. I made this from scraps around the house on some card stock paper. The cardboard tubing from a roll of toilet paper makes a great ice cream cone because of its curvature.

After reading a story about spiders, the kids and their friends wanted to make a spider craft. They all had a blast playing with their spider friends! This would be a fun craft for Halloween as well.
Hand Painted Popsicle Stick Puzzle
By attosa
This is a fun way to turn Popsicle sticks into a puzzle. I've made a love themed one, but you can paint whatever you'd like on it. Taking a photo of it creates a key for the puzzle player to follow. You can have this on a mobile device, or you can print it out.
Air Plant with Layered Sand and Glitter
By 15mhhm15
I enjoy planting and especially decorating the home with indoor plants. My toddler asked how come he doesn't have a planter of his own creation, so I thought this would be a fun mess free little planer he could make. It turned out beautifully, and adds a nice touch of color from the colored sand and mixture of glitter!

Mod Podge is used for so many creative projects, often costing a little out of your price range. There is hope! Here is a simple way to make mod podge for just a little over $1. You can be creative and thrifty!

I love the subtle sound of a wind chime. The sound can be created to be as subtle or as loud as the pieces you use to create your chime. I chose to use one of my favorite sounds (bells). I found these bells on clearance, but most craft stores carry them year around. These were a nice size and in my favorite colors.
Decorative Outdoor Solar Sconces
By Ana
I am in love with outdoor lighting! Often I find great candle holders that can be transformed into solar lighting. With a little creative alteration, you too could make these.

I made this for my grandson who loves skulls. It's pretty easy if you are at least an "intermediate skilled" crocheter. So let's get started!

If we can have a Christmas tree we can also create a Valentine's Day tree for the new season. Love month is full of hearts so I guess it's time to replace the pine tree with hearts.

This is a fun way to make a Valentine's Day checker board. I got these little heart pieces from the dollar shop. This would be sweet to create as a team on a date. You paint the squares in from one side, and they paint them in from the other. Meet in the middle, let dry, and play!
Making a Magnetic Pen/Pencil Holder
By 15mhhm15
This magnetic pen or pencil holder is very convenient to have on the fridge because I write on magnetic notepads daily.
Two Hearts As One Valentine Day Card
By Benetta
Here is an easy mini adult-coloring-project-turned-card for Valentine's Day. Symbolizing two lives that started separately, and eventually interlinked when falling in love, this card is sure to melt your Cupid's heart.

Baking soda is a great natural deodorizer. You can use it as an inexpensive air freshener, but you may not want a box of Arm and Hammer sitting on your bathroom counter. Here is an easy and cute way to make a baking soda air freshener.

This is a fun and budget-friendly craft for all ages. The heart is made of a simple pipe cleaner and a handful of ring-shaped cereal. You can also eat the fruity cereal as a bonus treat! ;)

The tradition of watching to see if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow is definitely fun! An easy craft for children do during Groundhog Day is this heart shaped paper groundhog. You only need a few supplies to make these adorable critters!

Hibiscus Love Mural Decoration
By Benetta
The hibiscus flower symbolizes beauty, and pink is a color associated with romance. Combine these two together to make a great decoration for Valentine's Day. The beauty of this decoration is that it can still be used after Valentine's Day.

This is a mat made out of foam bars and rope. It's made with supplies from the Dollar Store. It's a very frugal version of the mats made with wood bars and metal rods which are more expensive to make.

These flower vases are filled with Marvels LED lights in your choice of size and color. Flowers are placed in the center of the vase with a second strand of LED lights wrapped around the flowers, so that you can either light the vase or just light the flowers or light both at the same time

All birds are beautiful, but I find the male cardinals breathtaking, especially during a snowy winter. They don't molt and therefore retain that vivid and eye-catching red plumage all year long. If you are teaching children about cardinals, this craft is the perfect choice to incorporate into the lesson.
Reusing Plastic Containers for Craft Paint
By lnygaard
After using wax for my warmers, I don't throw the plastic away. I use it for paint compartments for small projects. The lid snaps and keeps my paint fresh.

This is a tuna can covered with a quilted fabric remnant and some left over cross-stitch mini squares, and a cardboard cloth covered lid.
Coffee Filter Butterfly Magnets
By Michele
These are cute little magnets that are a blast for the kids to make. They love spraying their artwork with water and watching the colors soften and blend.

I've seen this project all over Pinterest and have tried a couple of different methods. All promised that you could use regular Sharpies and it would work. None of them worked. They'd end up washing away or the marker would chip off. One day, I read that the secret was to use oil-based Sharpies.

I made this quilt quite awhile ago, in the late 80s. It is entirely handmade. I cut the hexagons for each colored flower and strung them on thread in little stacks, to keep the pieces for each block together.

Making humorous and quirky gifts for Valentine's Day is always fun especially when you have the perfect friend to send one to. This one should put a smile on any girl's face!
Using a Bowl for Sewing Scraps
By lalala...
With cats at our house, I try to be extra careful that they don't get ahold of the threads and scraps from my sewing projects. I went to a fundraiser recently and bought a decorative handmade bowl that I didn't have a use for yet. I decided it would be the perfect solution to contain my scraps.
Threading Beads on Elastic Stretch Cord
By Myra Powell W.
I spent about 2 hours frustrated that I could not put 1 to 2 pieces of elastic cord through the center of a seed bead or other beads to make a stretch bracelet. Finally, I had a brilliant idea, I took a piece of beading wire and cut about 2 to 3 inches off and folded it in half.
