Ahead of Passover this weekend, the themes of narrative, of storytelling and of freedom are on my mind. This is the start to a month-long stretch of holidays here in Israel, when these themes arise repeatedly.

For those of us anxious before a tense Seder night, check out these Four Questions that may help shape a more constructive conversation between family members around the table. And for those already optimistically thinking about their "next year in Jerusalem," see this piece on what U.S. President Donald Trump could have said to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (but almost certainly did not).

Bibi's quick visit to Washington came after the prime minister's weekend getaway to Budapest, the site of horrific brutality during the Holocaust. And while he was gone this week, his citizens continued to protest against the war in Gaza.

From a regional perspective, here's why Turkey's protests against President Erdogan are unlikely to succeed. And here's how Israel could affect mutually-beneficial change in Syria.

Wishing a happy chag full of chopped liver to all celebrating!
