This Australia Day we're inviting you and your family to celebrate the many cultures of Cockburn at our Australia Day event, Sunday, 26 January, 8am-midday at Coogee Beach Reserve. Join Cockburn local, TV presenter and MC Adrian Alaberg and Australia Day Ambassador and Women's number one swimming champ, Shelley Taylor-Smith as we bring in yet another awesome Australia Day featuring stacks of fun, free things to do, plus foods from around the globe. Construction has started on the $6M wetlands precinct Construction of the new $6M precinct in Bibra Lake has begun and will include a new Native ARC facility, extensions to The Wetlands Centre, Cockburn, a new Bibra Lake Scout shed and Rovers den, walkways, outdoor classrooms and more. The project has incorporated sustainable design features throughout and is due for completion early 2021. |

The City has engaged local off-road BMX riders to help come up with a draft concept design that would fit the space and suit riders of all skill levels.
