Does Baton Rouge need a new jail, juvenile center?

 Seeking input: Baton Rouge officials have been asking residents what they'd want from a new prison and juvenile detention facility if one or both were to be constructed over the past few months.  

The meetings come as the sheriff, mayor-president and the prison's warden all increasingly take the view that East Baton Rouge Parish needs new detention facilities.
