All agency and marketing executives surveyed by We Are Rosie say they wouldn't take up a new position that doesn't provide remote working options, 40% want flexible working and 63% intend to change careers or roles this year. WorkReduce CEO Brian Dolan described the current workforce situation on Twitter as a "watershed moment" for the ad industry, citing increased numbers of resignations and vacant positions.

The Landscape
The month of June saw the addition of 850,000 US jobs, and the unemployment rate grew slightly, from 5.8% to 5.9%. Overall the outlook is promising according to Kate Bahn, an economist at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, who said the current report "overshot expectations," especially in light of challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
