Winter recipes to help solve summer cravings! Peaches are my favorite summer fruit. I love them fresh; I love them in baking. But fresh peaches are hard to come by this time of year. In the winter, I can use either frozen peaches or mango. Try substituting mangos in your favorite peach recipes. Here, we're making a peach cobbler with pineapple. Instead of sugar to sweeten the fruit, that's peach pina colada jelly. Very yummy. Today, we'll share some of our favorite peach recipes. Give them a try with fresh mango. We'll also share some of our favorite mango recipes. We're working on more recipes so check back later. We'll also show you, with a video, how to cut a mango either with a knife or a mango slicer.

Notes: We get our mangos from Sam's Club. Currently they are $1.00 each. They're still green but usually ripen in two or three days. When ripe, they are slightly soft, not hard. Don't use them when they are green; they're not sweet enough. My favorite salsa for fish, chicken, and pork is mango salsa. See mango salsa recipes here.
