Companies experiencing more business during the pandemic, such as InstaCart and Teladoc, have turned to services like NexRep, which allows remote workers to do call center work from their homes while taking care of their household and limiting COVID-19 exposure. NexRep received 7,000 applicants per week in June and added 4,000 positions in three months, according to CEO Teddy Liaw.
