Stanley Field Hall and Terraces Stanley Field Hall is a premier Chicago event space, with 21,000 sq. ft. of iconic features everywhere your guests look: African elephants prepared by famed taxidermist Carl Akeley, large hanging gardens and flying pterosaurs, and our biggest attraction, Maximo the Titanosaur. Our Terraces provide spectacular skyline views of Chicago, the Rice Native Gardens and Lake Michigan or allow guests to host their event overlooking Soldier Field. With enough room to add tents, entertainment, and many seating areas, the Terraces can be rented separately or combined with a space inside the Museum. Unable to make it to the Field Museum?
