Welcome to the 696th Digital Photography Review newsletter.

In the (likely) lull before the next round of product releases expected next month, we've been dotting the i's and crossing the t's on our review of Apple's flagship smartphone, the iPhone X, and continuing to dig into the impressive capabilities of the Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5S. Tamron's latest lightweight telezoom recently arrived in the office too, and we've been shooting with it at every opportunity. Which in Seattle, in January, is easier said than done.
