Welcome to the 639th Digital Photography Review newsletter.

We're now into week 51 of 52, but the content still keeps on coming. This week we're ooh-ing and aah-ing over Canon's new EF 16-35mm F2.8L III USM, and the Sony a6500. Both are hugely impressive products in their own right, and Hasselblad's upcoming X1D looks pretty nice, too. As well as finishing up some reviews, DPReview staff have also been writing about our own personal favorite products from the past year. You'll find links to everything below.

Medium-format meets the modern age: Hasselblad X1D-50c shooting experience

Hasselblad caused a stir when it introduced the X1D-50c, a medium-format camera that's the size of a 35mm DLSR. Its release has been somewhat delayed, but it looks like it's going to be worth the wait.
