DIETER RAMS SEEN BY FLORIAN BÖHM consists of detailed images of iconic objects by Dieter Rams, photographed in the archives of the Braun-Sammlung in Kronberg. Böhm offers also exclusive insights into the private house of Dieter Rams.
For the first time, a selection of pictures from the catalogue "AS LITTLE DESIGN AS POSSIBLE" by Sophie Lovell (2011 published by Phaidon) are exhibited.

The solo exhibition DIETER RAMS SEEN BY FLORIAN BÖHM takes place in the contemporary and modern exhibition space for photography of the Goethe-Institut, located in the center of Bordeaux. Before Florian Böhm, photographs by Jörg Brüggemann/Ostkreuz, Hans Engels, Maurice Weiss/Ostkreuz, Herbert List, and Stefan Moses among others, were exhibited.

FLORIAN BÖHM, born in 1969, is a photographer who works and lives in Munich. With a particular interest in unintentional forms and accidental expressions, his conceptual (photographic) observations examine the modern perception of everyday life. His work was exhibited and published worldwide: Haus der Kunst, Munich; Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain, Paris; Kunstwerke, Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, and Fondazione Adriano Olivetti, Rom.

In one of his new photographic series WAIT FOR WALK, Florian Böhm expands the typology of the urban area with an anthropological look at New Yorkers waiting at traffic lights. He is co-founder of the project EndCommercial® / Reading the City, a visual record of modern urban life widely acclaimed in journals and papers such as the New York Times, Domus, Art Forum, and Kunstforum International. The project contains over 60.000 images, and established a new visual vocabulary to describe our urban experience. Since 2014 Florian Böhm works with Annahita Kamali as creative director of the design magazine DISEGNO.
