Deaths rose for the fifth straight week, and more than 3 million deaths have now been reported to WHO. Greta Thunberg has become the powerful voice of a younger generation demanding climate action. Today, Greta has announced a donation of 100 000 Euros from the Greta Thunberg Foundation, to the WHO Foundation in support of COVAX to provide vaccines to people in need. WHO is committed to ensuring that the global recovery from COVID-19 includes the voices, energy and ideas of young people.
