Good morning. Nearly six months after it was initially announced, President Biden last week signed an executive order implementing the new EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-US DPF). The DPF would replace the previously struck down Privacy Shield and Safe Harbor pacts. While the executive order is encouraging to some who were worried the pact would fall through, today's featured article by LTN reporter Isha Marathe explores why many data privacy attorneys are less than optimistic about the development.
