ISABEL + HELEN RECEIVE THE DESIGN PRIZE 2021 GOLDEN MADONNINA IN LONDON

designboom visited the london studio of british design duo isabel + helen to hand over THE DESIGN PRIZE 2021 golden madonnina for 'best design newcomer'. we got a tour of their lively space, filled with prototypes, experiments and tools of all kinds that assist them in bringing their animated installations and kinetic sculptures to life. see more about the making of their recent works, like the ‘kinetic dresses’ for bottega veneta, as well as the mini award ceremony that took place, in this video.

HERZOG & DE MEURON'S M+ MUSEM OPENS IN HONG KONG

hong kong's M+ museum by herzog & de meuron opens to the public with three weekends of celebratory programs. following the completion of the building earlier this year, M+ is now ready to showcase its outstanding collections of visual art, design and architecture, and moving image from hong kong, china, asia and beyond. for the first twelve months after the opening date, all visitors will enjoy free admission.
