Seeking clemency: In an historic move, 51 Death Row prisoners have formally asked Gov. John Bel Edwards, who leaves office at the end of year, to spare their lives and change their sentences to life in prison. Fearing the worst: When a body was found under a bridge in New Orleans, the family of a man known as “Chef Scott” feared it was him. The chef turned up later, safe, Michelle Hunter reports.
