Last year, the UAE-IX celebrated it's tenth anniversary and we decided to take a closer look at the digital evolution in the region. In service related news, at end of January there was a big worldwide disruption of Microsoft's cloud services. In a new case study, we tell the story of one of our customers, who – thanks to the Microsoft Azure Peering Service (MAPS) – was able to continue working without any issues. MAPS is now also available via selected partners, giving enterprises without an ASN access to optimized connectivity to Microsoft's cloud services.
