Want 2 tickets per month for a year?!? WHAT TO DO: Pick up your âPiano Passportâ at Dazzle. Bring your Piano Passport any time you come to a show and get a stamp. Get four stamps at four different shows and you can pick an envelope from the prize basket. DUE DATE: Make sure to get your four stamps before we move to our new location at 1080 Arapahoe St. in late November / early December. Prizes include tickets to shows at Dazzle, the Newman Center, the Boulder Theater, the Colorado Symphony, and the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, with more added each week. The band creates itsâ story telling narratives with an electric, groove drenched backdrop that pulls from vast musical traditions. | | Ken Walker SextetThursday, September 1 - 7pm The Ken Walker Sextet is an iconic and beloved jazz group which has played together for more than two decades and have been Dazzleâs Artists in Residence since 2011. The music is always swinging, often funky, and sometimes even profound. The repertoire ranges from jazz standards, to post bop tunes, original compositions, and always, always inspired by Eddie Harris!

| | Denver Video Game Jazz All StarsSaturday, September 3 - 7pm This show features a 60 minute performance from 7:00-8:00 PM, a 20 minute intermission, followed by another 60 minute performance from 8:20-9:20. Carmen SandimSunday, September 11 - 6:30pm Over her 30+ year relationship with music, award-winning composer and pianist Carmen Sandim has explored a variety of music styles â from performing with a Symphony orchestra, to composing TV jingles, to scoring for independent movies and Big Band, to leading her own Jazz groups. On September 11th, her band will perform her latest collection of original compositions which are jazz rooted, intricately arranged, and strongly infused with the rhythms of her home country, Brazil as part of The Gift of Jazzâs Women in Jazz series.
