Inspired by the "Stories of Standards" series on KUVO, this unique show explores the lives and music of the most influential figures in jazz history.

The Flatirons Jazz Orchestra - featuring Deborah Stafford, is a traditional 18-piece big band that authentically recreates the great Swing-Era music of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Gene Krupa, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Diane Schuur, Buddy Rich, and more.

The G.W.B.B. is a tool & professional setting to highlight and enable the next generation of musicians in their performance and professionalism with constant opportunities to compose/ arrange for the band to help keep pushing the sounds of the large jazz ensemble forward.

The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece "big band" featuring contemporary big-band jazz. Their selections include something for both young and old alike and considers the audience as an integral part of the show. Expect some humor, scary-good charts, outstanding local musicians and a very enjoyable evening!
