With the news that UK broadcaster Channel 5 has axed Neighbours, fans of the show have pushed it to No.1 on the iTunes chart. 

The original theme song was co-written by legendary songwriter duo Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent, and sung by Barry Crocker.
