Out of left field: Drone delays baseball game In case you’ve been living under a rock, we have good news for you: Baseball is back, and it’s just what America needs right now! But on September 16, Cubs and Indians players got a shocking surprise when a drone suddenly dropped out of the sky and landed on the grass in deep left-center field. Before the drone was identified, umpires quickly moved all players to the dugouts for safety — but they soon realized there was no danger. Apparently, an overzealous fan flew his drone just a bit too close to Wrigley Field and lost control. And just as soon as it arrived, the drone picked itself up and ascended over the bleachers.
