Good morning!

After a day of light rain and cold yesterday, roads are still a little damp for the morning commute. However, skies are already starting to clear and by the afternoon, we'll be mostly sunny. Highs should reach into the low-60s.

As for tonight, it'll be clear and chilly for New Year's Eve activities. When we ring in 2019, it'll be in the 40s.

Today's seasonable and sunny weather will be short-lived. A cold front tomorrow morning will bring back clouds and limit highs near 50° tomorrow. An approaching trough of low pressure will bring scattered light rain Wednesday, with temperatures staying in the 30s all day. Additionally, freezing rain is possible in the Hill Country where surface temperatures will be just below freezing.
