When I say, ‘I am aggressive and I must not be aggressive,’ or I indulge in aggressiveness, in that there is the ‘me’ who is aggressive; aggressiveness is something different from me. ‘I must fulfil’ – fulfilment is different from the entity that is trying to fulfil. So there is always this division, and within this field we are trying to change. ‘We must not be violent, we must become non-violent; we must not be aggressive, we must be less aggressive; we must fulfil’ – and all the rest of it is going on within this field. Within this field, there is no possibility of radical change.
