What is the quality, that state, that truth, in which there is no division? The moment division takes place – husband, wife, woman, man, black, white, there is all the misery of conflict. So what is that which has no conflict? Is it love? I use the word ‘love’ not in the modern sense of the word, which is sensation, jealousy, excitement, sexual pleasure – ‘I want something and I’m going to get it’ – is all that love? Obviously not. But in that quality, in that perfume, in that state, there is no division, and therefore there is the end of conflict, which means the end of fear.
