Can you listen to what is being said with great attention and care, without any resistance? Which doesn’t mean that you accept or deny – just to listen. If you so listen, without any agreement or denial, that very act of listening brings about a response from the unconscious. The conscious mind, with all its daily activity, is so concerned with its outward security that it is incapable of being free of resistance.
