There is the pursuit of pleasure and enjoyment. When there is enjoyment, thinking about that enjoyment becomes pleasure. Joy is something you can never invite. Once joy is there, and then gone, there is the remembrance of it, and thought says, ‘I must have more of it.’ Then the pursuit of pleasure begins.
