What does it mean to see, to see the whole picture of life, of existence, not just one fragment? We are human beings, not Americans, not black people or brown people, communists, socialists, Hindus, Catholics and so on. We are human beings, and we have this immense problem. You have not the problem of a Catholic – that is just a mere label. That is the result of 2,000 years of propaganda, and propaganda doesn’t make for religion; it makes for hierarchical, religious, organised bureaucracy, which has nothing whatsoever to do with religion.
