Life isn’t just industry, going to the office, earning money and begetting children. Life is something much greater than all that. It includes all those, but the little does not include the greater; the greater includes the lesser. But we are apparently contented with the lesser, the immediate. Life is becoming extraordinarily superficial. You think that by going to puja, or this or that, it makes you extraordinarily rich, or because you have read half a dozen books, you think you are very clever. All this is still very superficial.
