We know violence at every level of our being: physical, psychological. I am asking myself, as a human being living in this world, can I end violence, not fragmentarily but totally? I see it can only end totally if thought, which creates fragments, doesn’t function. Why does thought always function in fragments? Why? Do you know? Don’t say, ‘Because...’ Do you know for yourself that thought as a businessman, thought as a scientist, thought as a family man, thought as a labourer, and so on, each one is functioning in fragmentation? And this fragmentation is bred, brought about by thought, the thought that has created the social structure. So I am asking: why does thought necessarily bring about fragmentation?
