There is only awareness; awareness as you enter a building, awareness of all the colours, the faces, the people; awareness in which there is no choice – just to be aware. As you are aware when you look at a flower or when you listen to the sound of an aeroplane overhead, just to totally listen to it, neither resisting it nor getting irritated with it. Completely listen to it. If you do that, there is no unconscious, which becomes such a trivial affair.
