SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Colossians 2:6-8
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Click Here!

QUOTE OF THE DAY Thomas S. Monson
“How blessed we are to have the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It provides answers to the questions concerning where we came from, why we are here, and where we will go when we depart from this life. It gives meaning and purpose and hope to our lives. “I thank you for the service you so willingly give to one another. We are God’s hands here on this earth, with a mandate to love and to serve His children. “I thank you for all that you do in your wards and your branches. I express my gratitude for your willingness to serve in the positions to which you are called, whatever they may be. Each is important in furthering the work of the Lord” (“Until We Meet Again,” October 2011 General Conference). For more Quote of the Day Click Here!
TODAY IN CHURCH HISTORY September 4, 2021
1843 - The Prophet Joseph Smith took his family to a circus performance in Nauvoo. He also records in his journal a copy of an article about him in the New York Sun that said, “This Joe Smith must be set down as an extraordinary character, a prophet-hero, as Carlyle might call him. He is one of the great men of this age, and in future history will rank with those who, in one way or another, have stamped their impress strongly on society.” The article then went on to say that his followers were deceived and that the growth of Mormonism was a threat “causing serious alarm to every patriot.” (History of the Church, 6:2-3) For More Church History, Click Here!
