Ribs, burgers and sweets: New South Peoria restaurant is 20 years in the making

Peoria entrepreneur Shawn Holler is opening a new take-out restaurant inside the Mr. Food Mart at 1102 South Western Avenue in Peoria. Shawn's Kitchen will feature a variety of "comfort" foods from breakfast platters and cheeseburgers to ribs and a shrimp boil.

Burgers, hot dogs, ribs and sweets: Shawn's Kitchen in South Peoria will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and treats — for carryout or delivery.
