Built in 1841 on the northeast corner of Main Street and Court Lane in Goshen, this courthouse remained active until 1970 when courts proceedings were relocated nearby to the Orange County Government Center. It was designed the same year as another new courthouse in Newburgh; the two locations shared county seat duties at the time.
