Historic Peoria mansion faces uncertain future. Here is the city's vision for the property

The Spurck Mansion was built in the 1890s and was in use up until 2011 as the Koinonia House. The KDB Group headed by Peoria native and biotech entrepreneur Kim Blickenstaff bought the property in 2020 with the intent of bringing it back to its original glory.

The 1890s-era mansion is in need of repairs, and Peoria officials hope a new developer will preserve the building.
