Corporate landlords are buying up Peoria properties. Here's how it becomes problematic

Rebecca Billings, left, and her husband Aaron Rawley are part of a group of nearly 60 East Bluff residents being forced out of their homes by rental homes company SFR3 and their management company Darwin Homes. The company issued a 30-day "notice to vacate" at the end of November, giving the residents a month to find another place to live – a tall task for low-income residents like Billings and Rawley.

While corporations are fixing up Peoria properties, the attention has come with negative effects for local residents.
