Breakneck Ridge trail, closed for several months, set to reopen

Stone stairs installed at the approach of the Breakneck Ridge trail in Cold Spring on June 26, 2023. Portions of the trail were heavily eroded and during the trail's closure between March and July stone stairs were installed to minimize erosion and provide a safe approach to the rock scramble.

Improvements at the Breakneck Ridge Trail at the Hudson Highland State Park will open on July 1.
