SPONSORSHIP & PROMOTION The NBA’s Dallas Mavericks locked in a major sponsorship deal with online and app marketplace company 5miles that will see the brand become the franchise’s first jersey patch sponsor. As part of the agreement 5miles will be listed as the official marketplace partner of the Mavericks, while Harrison Barnes, one of the team’s forwards, will serve as a brand ambassador for the company. The deal makes the Mavericks the 21st NBA team to secure a jersey patch deal for this season. DIGITAL & STREAMING ESPN is expanding its relationship with STATS and will use STATS SportVU real-time optical tracking to support ESPN’s coverage of the New York Life ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament.
