Bond denied for murder suspect

Three years after allegedly shooting his ex-girlfriend to death, a Baton Rouge man who was out on bond with no ankle monitor went on to attack another woman, the mother of his two children. After his arrest this past weekend, a judge ordered him jailed without bond. And the DA condemned the decisions in 2020 to lower the man's bail and stop tracking him. Lea Skene brings us the story. 


'Desperate need' for more bike paths

Highway officials deemed Baton Rouge a "focus city" for bicycling problems years ago. But, as Caroline Savoie reports, the recent deaths of two bicyclists in separate crashes on Siegen Lane and Stanford Avenue show we've got a long way to go to fixing the problem.
