Developed in partnership with Urban Libraries Council, our Realizing a Community-Centered Library: Strategies for Leaders course starting March 25* will teach you how to:

• Acknowledge and move through your implicit biases and preconceptions about your community.
• Gain practical relationship building skills.
• Assess your current community engagement practices.
• Use data from assessments to make plans for change and communicate the impacts of your efforts.
• Determine your community needs through asset mapping.
• Create a plan and framework for building staff capacity to do community engagement work.
• Create a high-level and strategic community engagement plan.
