One SC Fund Awards $426,600 for Hurricane Relief

To date, the One SC Fund — established by former Governor Nikki Haley in November 2015 after the Thousand Year Flood to help South Carolinians who are recovering from a disaster — has distributed more than $8.5 million in grants to nonprofits to support disaster recovery projects and COVID-19 relief efforts across the state.

Richland Library Announces Thanksgiving Schedule

All Richland Library locations will close 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 25 and remain closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 in observance of Thanksgiving.

As we approach the busy holiday season, Senior Resources is in need of volunteers to deliver hot meals to our Meals on Wheels clients in Richland County. Meals on Wheels provides meals to elderly, frail, and home-bound residents at lunchtime five days a week by caring volunteers.
