License Plate Lamp
By Little Tag Along
I am always trying to make or find something unusual for my grandson who has Aspberger's. Since he is now 19, it has gotten more difficult. He likes cars and soon will be going to an autotech school. So, digging through my packrat room, I found a car part (transmission pan?), an old lamp, and a set of old license plates. A little twisting, painting, and a splatter shield from Dollar Tree, here is the result.

Painted Shelf with Circles Pattern
By Becky Miles
Recently, I saw a beautiful fabric at the store. It was dark blue with light blue circles. I had some shelves that I found in our alley and didn't know what to do with them. I decided to recreate that pattern on the shelves. It was a pretty simple project.

Memory Bank

I lost my dad awhile back. I like to have reminders of him throughout our home. I made this memory bank, I used a bread crumb can. I hot glued the picture to the can, on the other side is a picture of me and him.

By Jackie H.
This is similar to the sock snowmen everyone was making at Christmas time. Well, I searched through my crafts before buying new materiels and found the tube socks, the bags of rice and thought, I wonder if there is a way to make a white bunny? You shall see.

Wrist Length Lace Bridal Gloves

Don't let the pictures fool you, these are actually quite easy to make. If you can single and double crochet, you can make these feminine and elegant gloves. What a special gift these would make for a beautiful bride! She can even keep them on when that handsome groom is placing the ring on her finger.

String Basket

I was making a cloth to put on top of my son's end table in the colors to match his room and the fabric raveled easily so I had a whole pile of these threads from the project. I thought "there must be something I can do with these".

Paper Napkin Rose
By Robyn Fed
We were eating out and when we were done, Trey, our friend's teenage child, presented us all with a "paper rose." I could not tell you how he did it, even as I watched, art is amazing, and even this photo does not do justice to how much it looks like a rose.
