 We had previously shared that we would introduce our new regulatory approach in January 2023. Following a full review of our timeline we have decided this will not happen until later in 2023. Earlier this year we laid out our approach to how and when we would take the next steps in delivering our strategy.Following a review, we have shared an update on our website setting out the approach we will take in 2023.  We are developing anew regulatory modelbased on a single assessment framework, which we will implement later in 2023. Alongside this work we are developing a new provider portal, also due to launch in 2023. Next year, we will launch a comprehensive communication campaign to ensure all health and social care providers and professionals understand what these changes are, what they mean for them and what they need to do to prepare for these changes being implemented. To help us measure how successful this campaign will be, we want to know how well you understand these changes now. Well ask similar questions throughout 2023 to help us track the campaigns success and inform where we need to focus our messaging. In summer 2022 we established a new Provider Implementation Steering Group to help shape how we should implement our new ways of working. Following an update to our implementation timeline (LINK) we are looking to expand the membership of this group to support our transformation work in 2023. And are inviting new expressions of interest to join. This group would be ideal for people who are responsible in their organisation for meeting regulatory requirements. Joining the group will provide an opportunity to help shape: - Implementation timelines, helping CQC to understand the potential implications and impact on providers of different scenarios
- Provider guidance so we ensure it meets providers needs.
- Additional information content providers will need.
- Campaign approaches to ensure were able to inform providers of upcoming regulatory changes.
Members of the group will receive an invite to join an hour long session each month, with opportunities to feed back between meetings.
