If we are not careful, those of us who are “in Christ” may stereotype and label people. Those who don’t know Jesus become “them” in our eyes. We are tempted to distance ourselves and forget that before coming to Jesus, we too were without God and without hope in this world.

The "Awaken" event will examine the questions surrounding systemic racism in America, police violence and people of color, the nature of true social justice, and how someone can escape wokism. We cannot love others well by sacrificing truth on the false alter of wokeness ideology. Join us as we humbly discuss these ideas and seek truth for the sake of the Gospel.
