Amid predictions that SA could soon be facing as many as 4,000 coronavirus cases, the state is boosting its bed capacity by almost 100 ahead of an expected easing of border restrictions.

Doctors call for lower speed limits in Adelaide Hills

The Australian Medical Association says there are several "dangerous" roads in the Adelaide Hills where it’s too unsafe to be driving at 100kph. The Association has spent most of the past two years as an expert voice on COVID-19, but it says road safety is also a public health issue.

Dr Peter Ford from the AMA told David Bevan on ABC Adelaide Mornings what he'd like to see changed, and listener Margaret called in to share her story of losing a loved one in the Hills.
