Good afternoon,

Today we reflect on lives lost, lessons learned and the debt we owe to our key workers over the last 12 months.

In that time myself and and Lancashire Post team have done our best to keep you up-to-date with the latest information and facts, as well as the ever changing rules and guidance to help you make informed decisions and keep you and your family safe.

We have supported our communities, championed and campaigned for our health and care workers, teachers and community heroes, while also getting behind local businesses during these difficult times.

And while it has been tough, and we have shared loss there have also been some incredibly uplifting and positive moment that we have been able to bring to you.

Like many industries, regional news has been badly hit by the pandemic, and we need your support so we can continue to be there for you as we come out of lockdown.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us in the last 12 months.

Take care
Colin Ainscough
