John, Please Know, We Will Never Stop Searching

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) has always put one mission first: ensuring the safety and health of our children. While Coronavirus has captured the attention of the U.S. and the entire world—the families of missing and exploited children are still looking for their kids—and so are we.

We also prioritize the safety of our staff who work 24/7 to help find and and rescue these kids. Through the support of our partners, we’ve been able to ensure that our teams are well-equipped to telework and to continue working as hard as ever to find missing children, reduce child exploitation, and prevent future victimization.

For parents: with many students home because of school closures, we thought it would be helpful to send you some tips and fun activities to do with your kids to make sure they stay safe online.
  • Watch Into the Cloud episodes with your kids: They are binge-able, age appropriate videos that include activities to help teach children to be safer online. Into the Cloud will help them become more aware of potential risks and more empowered to help prevent victimization by making safer choices online and offline.
  • Read our blog: There are several good posts about keeping kids safe online.
  • Follow us on social media: for latest updates on how to protect children.
As we deal with this unprecedented global situation, decisions will continue to be made that may impact NCMEC in unknown ways.

Your support means a great deal to us. We hope you will consider a donation to our mission when the time is right.

Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by COVID-19. We are in this together, and as always, our light will continue to stay on until all missing children come home.

Stay safe,
John Walsh
