| Covid-19 Conspiracy Theories Are Bleeding Into the Real World | |
| | Fake news online has real-world ramifications for people and companies. Already, companies like Facebook have reported going to new and great lengths to remove Covid-19 misinformation from its platform. In April alone, Facebook removed 50 million pieces of misinformation related to the pandemic. The severity of the misinformation was also the highlight of the most recent ad for The New York Times which subtly reminded folks that, you know, bleach isn't a cure. In other news, good update for OOH advertising: driving traffic is up, MLB is doing the most to keep fans interested and Facebook Messenger has made some recent changes.
